Y12 -How am I assessed? What are AO's?
AO1. Develop ideas through sustained and
focused investigations informed by contextual and other sources, demonstrating
analytical and critical understanding. There should be a focus here on responding to
the work of other artists. (30%)
AO2. Experiment with resources, media,
materials, techniques and processes, reviewing and refining ideas as work
develops. (30%)
AO3. Record
in visual and other forms, observations and insights. (20%)
AO4. Present
a personal response demonstrating critical understanding, realising intentions,
and making connections between visual, written and other elements. (20%)
PORTFOLIO PROJECT ONE
Title: High and Low
Begin to explore your
ideas through drawing, photography, textiles, printmaking, writing, 3D and wire
construction, painting, found objects……
Work directly from primary
sources.
Take interesting
photographs and work into their surface or manipulate them on the computer.
Use viewfinders to work
from abstract sections of the photographs.
